Well, somewhere this week and I'm pretty sure I've forgotten the exact date (August 26th, maybe?) bobofett.com had it's 6th year of being online. Six years, people. That's a long time. I mean, it's at least 145 internet years. Through this journal (which predates a BLOG by a good 4 years), I've made several friends who'll be with me forever. I haven't been the focus of any drama or gossip or speculation for at least the past 2 years, so if you're someone who had something to say about my life in the past, I'm over it. You've all seen me at my skinniest (see: 1999) and my heaviest (see: 2004). My prettiest (again, see: 1999) and my most disfigured and scary to children (see: 3 months ago). I've been happy and sad, drunk and sober, manic and calm and everywhere in between.

 

Thanks everyone, for continuing to read after my page comes up on search engines with some of the weird ass stuff you're looking for (see: google).

 

Thanks for giving a shit about my grandparents. I know I haven't much talked about them recently, mostly because there's not much new to report. Thanks for all of your kind thoughts and words before and after my surgery.

 

Yeah, so I guess what I'm trying to say is thank you. You're all the reason I still bother.
