How are YOU all doing? It's Friday, and you know what that means, right? I think you do! It's time for the FRIDAY SONG! This was a request from my lovely friend Jane. She didn't actually request that I share the song with the entire world, but she saw that it was in my Top 20 Songs Of All Times and didn't happen to HAVE this particular song (for a long time, it was only available on the sound track to the movie Legend, and upon going and looking it up on Amazon, the song no longer seems to be included. I have the record, so I'm fairly sure I'm not imagining it. Why else would I buy the it?) and seeing as how I have everything Bryan Ferry has ever done, to a sort of embarrassing degree, I am able to comply.
There are a lot of totally perfect songs out there that just aren't played or listened to, and I can't figure it out. This Bryan Ferry song is an example. Another is (shut up, ok?) Big Head Todd's "Please Don't Tell Her". That song SCREAMS movie soundtrack to me, and yet, nothing. Can I pitch a movie without any script, just the movies I'd like it to use? Because that would be amazing, and I think you'd all like it. If it wound up all of us sitting in a movie theater just listening to songs I love, I'll bring the beer, and you bring the company, ok?
