Hey there! I am NOT dead. Really! I've been busy all summer, what with classes (did I mention I was taking classes? I must have!) and the fact that I haven't been able to FTP anything to this site for months (and honestly, I haven't really tried very hard), and just general summer sloth, I've been studiously updating HERE. I update there mostly because
I can update from work, even though I should technically be working (or studying math)of the EASE of it all, and it suits my level of give a shit about layout.If you were on my (almost never working) mailing list, you would have KNOWN that I was doing most of my updating from there, so really, you have no one to blame but yourselves. Shame on you! Letting me go for 2 months without checking up on me! You have some nerve!! Really!
I'm not going to recap what I've written there, which is honestly mostly really quick stuff, nothing heavy and nothing too deep. I simply have not had time at night to write a real entry about how I'm feeling (tired, but I passed math!) how things are now that Angelo is gone (sad, and I dream about him often. Usually, he's asking me to cook him something), how Eleanor is (mostly fine), how Nick is (studly, natch), what's cooking at work (I'm furious about something, but I'll talk about that another time, probably on LJ.), what I've done this summer (work, school, yard stuff [although to be completely truthful, that was almost 100 percent Nick and perhaps 0.000002 percent me], the fact that I went CAMPING for the first time, about which my feelings are still mixed, gambling, Atlantic City, seeing RADIOHEAD [but you knew that!], Gnarls Barkley and Gnarls Barkley-related activities, the $19 i won today playing the horses with my Grandmother and about a thousand stupid (and not stupid!) other things.
Mostly, though, I'm just hanging in there. I'll be posting here more often (classes don't start again until September), but in the meantime, go see my LJ! Leave comments. By all means, say nasty shit about me, if you're so inclined. I allow anonymous comments!
