Every morning for the past three days, I've gotten out of bed, done my business and headed down to the kitchen to make some coffee and every time I have--for the past three days--there has been a live bee sitting on the garbage disposal side of the sink.  All three bees have been flushed down the garbage disposal and ground up, so unless there's some kind of religious bee resurrection going on, I can pretty much assume that they are three totally different bees.  That, my friends, presents me with kind of a dilemma.  First off, where are the bees COMING from?  How are they getting into my pipes?  Why are they in my sink?  Will there suddenly be 9 bees one morning?  Will I wake up  covered in angry bees??  Will my house be filled with swarming, stinging bees??  Do bees sting dogs??

As you can plainly see, this is causing me some worry.  NOT because I'm so much afraid of bees (like everyone, I have a healthy respect for them, and like to keep my distance and prefer they do the same) but because I'm afraid of stumbling into the hive.  Bee hives give me the jibblies.  Something about the way honeycomb looks makes me want to puke a little, and when the bees are buzzing in and out, it's a total nightmare.  Also, I'm not in love with the idea of waking up for a morning stretch and accidentally punching the hive.  Although being stung 500 times would definitely get me out of work for a few days, I'd rather earn my sick days in a more normal way, like falling down the stairs or getting gently bumped by a car.

Oh, and because Friday was a holiday, here's a song.
